Welcome to the official website of Columbus, Ohio-based blues band, The Delta Sheiks!

Having formed in 2003, the concept was to perform lesser known Blues (mainly from the forties and fifties) not being covered by many bands. While not abandoning the “classic” Blues, the playlist has since expanded to include more contemporary Blues, Classic R&B, and even a little Rock-a-Billy.

The band is comprised of veteran musicians with a long history of performing in some of central Ohio's top blues bands. The group includes Jim Biersdorf (harmonica), Dan West (vocals), Bill Bostwick (guitar), Sam Williams (bass) and Dave West (drums).

The band's performance schedule not only includes club dates but also regional festivals, such as The Wheeling Heritage Blues festival, The Circleville Pumpkin Show, and Upper Arlington’s Music in the Park series.
